Jim Duncan

Over the last few years, many of you will have gotten to know Valentina Duncan, a long-time Highland Community gardener who has always grown an amazing amount of produce. 

You may have also become acquainted with her husband Jim, who was often at her side, offering support. Sadly, Jim William Duncan passed away suddenly a few weeks ago.

You will still often find Valentina working at the garden. Please keep her in your thoughts at this time, as she mourns Jim’s passing.

Some of you may want to show support by attending Jim’s Celebration of Life this Sunday.   Please see the information below.

Celebration of Life

Held on Sunday, July 14th

Please join our family in celebrating the life of Jim. An intimate gathering of family to release Jim's ashes will be held at 11:30am at Mission Bridge picnic area at 6579 Riverside Street, Abbotsford.

Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration of life from 12 to 3pm at the Matsqui Village Park located at 6074 Riverside Street, Abbotsford under the covered gazebo.
